Individual Therapy

Michelle is curious, warm, and empathic in her therapeutic style. She approaches sessions with the individual at the centre of treatment to develop a shared understanding of the problem brought to therapy, and the best way to move forward.

Michelle has interest and experience in working with adolescents and adults seeking support with:

  • Managing low mood and depression
  • Anxiety disorders such as excessive worry, social anxiety, and phobias
  • Coping with stress
  • Coping with change
  • Managing obsessive thinking
  • Emotion regulation
  • School refusal
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Assertiveness and communication skills

Michelle maintains a limited number of clients to ensure that each person is genuinely cared for and known. Appointments are currently available face to face or via telehealth.

Family Therapy

Michelle has expertise and extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders in children and adolescents, particularly Anorexia Nervosa and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorders (ARFID) within a Family Based Treatment (FBT) model.

In the spirit of reconciliation, The Glade Psychology Practice acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country and their connections to land, sea, and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
